Funeral for Andrew Graham Pass

* update*

For those who feel they wish to visit Andy Pass in the Chapel of Rest, you are now welcome to do so at the Tritton Road Co-Op funeral directors. Please telephone 01522 534971 to make an appointment.

Friends and family are invited to raise a glass to Andy as he makes his final journey through the villages prior to the funeral. This will be at 11am at the Wheatsheaf pub in Waddington, and at 11.20 at the Tempest Arms in Coleby.

Funeral service is at All Saints Harmston Church on Thursday 24th June 2021 at 12pm.

It is with great sadness that we inform family and friends of Andys passing, and the details of his funeral in the coming month.  Please keep an eye on this post for any updates and please feel free to add to his tribute below.

Andy was a man who owned no more than he needed day to day. He was taken from us far too early, and as such there was no prevision in place for his funeral.  A fund page was created to cover the costs of his ceremony and burial.  Any extra money raised will be used for his headstone and engravement.  https://gofund.me/3506bb13

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for such overwhelming generosity which only serves as credit to Andy as he stays in our hearts and memories as a kind and considerate soul whose presence was valuable despite his reluctance to be center of any attention.

Due to the Covid-19 regulations that will be in place for this period of time, the ceremony will be managed by private invitation.  This is necessary in order to adhere to social distancing rules of 30 people maximum inside the church.  Larger numbers of attendees are permitted and welcome outdoors, where Andy will be laid to rest during a burial at 12.45pm.

Between 11am and 11.30am Andy will take his last journey by hearse through the villages of Waddington and Coleby, where he will pause momentarily outside the Wheatsheaf and the Tempest pubs before his final destination in Harmston.

Following the funeral Lee and Bev at the Wheatsheaf pub in Waddington have generously chosen to host a celebration of Andy's life for those who wish to pay their respects the best way Andy knew how.  Depending on decisions made by Boris, they hope to announce further plans for the possibility of music and dancing and nibbles.

Original proceedings were assumed to be addressed by cremation. Once this was advertised, it was made clear by close friends of Andrew that he had wanted a burial. If anyone has donated towards andys funeral fund on the basis of a cremation only taking place please contact Gemma Oxby to discuss privately on 07886611804.
